The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation hosted an inspirational evening to celebrate Casting Vision and Creating the Next Generation of Leaders at the 5th Annual Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation Gala.

Held at the Hilton Chicago on May 16, 2015, the evening was co-hosted by Tamron Hall, co-host of NBC’s Today Show, along with Karli Harvey.With a packed house of more than 400 guests and supporters, more than $1 million was raised to support the Foundation’s important work serving young adults through SMHF mentorship programs: Steve Harvey Mentoring Program for Young Men and Girls Who Rule the World.

The evening honored four incredible individuals who exemplify the Foundation’s mission: basketball great Dwyane Wade and his sister Tragil (Wade’s World Foundation), activist and actress Holly Robinson Peete (HollyRod Foundation) and business leaders John W. Rogers, Jr., Chairman, CEO and Chief Executive Officer of Ariel Investments, LLC and Alex B. Cummings, Chief Administrative Officer of The Coca-Cola Company.

The star-studded evening also included silent & live auctions, performances by the Chicago Children’s Choir Alumni and R&B recording artist, Ledisi.
